2008 marks another great satisified year for Nate's Thrift customers!
Nate's Thrift started in December of 1999. We started off this business only selling vintage, out of print board games. We only carried one type of stock, the games, of course until 2004. An idea came along to extend the stock of Nate's Thrift into a larger selection of items and lower prices. Being in the heat of the competition when starting out was rough. The problem was, in 1999, there was a load of dealers on the internet selling vintage, out of print board games. Due to unimaginable reasons, many board game online stores have closed for eternity. Nate's Thrift is fortunate. We expanded at the exact time. When we expanded our catalogs into more items, this bought us time. This is the reason why Nate's Thrift exists today. If it had not been for the genious idea to make the business larger, Nate's Thrift would not be here for the fanfare today. Now, we are top sellers in many catagories and doing well. Nate's Thrift's future appears bright and we look foward into serving you into the future. F.A.Q Q: Are the items that are for sale used?A: Yes, we only stock vintage items. At some points we will receive new-old stock meaning it is old but never been used. Q: Why don't you accept any other methods of payment than money order?A: Money orders are easy and safe. You do not have to worry about your credit card number being spilled out all over the net, we won't have to pay fees on returned checks and neither will you. With money orders, you send them, you do not have to wait for anything to clear and then your item(s) is shipped. It's very simple Q:Do you ship outside of the United States Of America?A: No, Insurance would be high, our wait for your payment would be long and your delivery of your product would be a long wait as well. We only ship to the United States. Hawaii and Alaska are included but shipment fees are higher. Q:Are your prices negotiable?A: No, our prices are set lower than the actual value of each item is. We cannot go any lower on an item unless you see an ad stating that we are have a sale. Then you will get a certain percentage off of an item. That is the only time. STOCK BACKORDERS: If you have an item you are looking for, contact us at natesthriftstore@yahoo.com and request the item. We will then search for your item locally in our region and try to locate the desired product that was requested. If we do not currently have the item in stock, we will place you on a backorder which means, your name and e-mail will be put on our special list and when the item becomes available, you will be contacted immediatley. WARNING: you will need to renew your backorder every year! If we do not find your item within a year, your backorder will be deleted due to various cases. So, just email me again telling me what item you're looking for and I will renew your backorder form. |

www.usps.com www.ups.com www.fedex.com When looking into the shipping fees on an item that you are interested in, please contact us at Natesthriftstore@yahoo.com with the following things: the item you're interested in, your shipping address, your name, your email address and any other further information that we may need to know to contact you or receive your shipment fees and send them to you via email. Most carriers charge by size and weight of any package. Rates vary in each section of products here at Nate's Thrift. One item may be more or less shipping of shipping fees depending on the circumstances. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us via the email address above. |
WE SHIP USPS...GREAT QUALITY SERVICE!!! 
Why won't we ship other methods? We only ship United States Postal Service to save you money and make the arrival of your product fast. We personally adore Fedex and UPS but when it comes to shipping games, USPS ships the best for these small packages. If you order another type of item other than a game, then we may consider of a different shipping method.
Want an item that is not in stock? If an item says "SOLD" then this may mean temporarily or permentaly out of stock!
CUSTOMER SERVICE You may e-mail us at Natesthriftstore@yahoo.com . We usually answer e-mails within a 24 hour period. If you have an item that you have ordered and have not yet received, call us and we will find the problem (THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO US BEFORE.) |
PAYMENT METHODS We only accept money orders as method of payment. No checks, no Paypal, or any other form...Just money order. If this is a problem, we recommend not ordering any item(s) from our online store. We will give you your shipping price if you e-mail us. HOLDING POLICY When you want to hold an item directly from our stock, contact us. But, prewarned, your item will only be held for 10 days including weekends. If your payment has not arrived within the due date of that time, the item will be placed back on the market and available to the general public again. Sorry if this is an inconvience but due to fraud cases, I must inforce this rule.
